Grand Rapids Physician Phillip G. Wise, MD, re-elected for third term as Speaker of Michigan State Medical Society’s House of Delegates

Phillip G. Wise, MD, FACS, a Grand Rapids urologist, was re-elected to a third one-year term as Speaker of the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) House of Delegates during the 158th annual meeting of the MSMS House of Delegates held in Dearborn on April 22nd.

Doctor Wise is a graduate of the University of Southern California, School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Urology after completion of two years of general surgery and four years of urology, at Baylor College of Medicine. The then completed a fellowship in male reproductive medicine and surgery at the same institution. He is a physician at Urologic Consultants in West Michigan. Doctor Wise is a current member and past president of the Kent County Medical Society and is a member of the American Medical Association, and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. The Michigan State Medical Society is the statewide professional association operating as the voice of all physicians in Michigan and is affiliated with the American Medical Association. Physician policies on various issues involving public health, health care delivery and medical ethics are set at the annual MSMS House of Delegates meeting.
