Macomb County Physician Daniel M. Ryan, MD, Re-Elected to Help Lead State Medical Society

Daniel M. Ryan, MD, a Warren physiatrist, was re-elected to Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) Board of Directors during the 158th annual meeting of the MSMS House of Delegates held in Dearborn on April 23rd.

A graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Doctor Ryan will serve a third three-year term on the MSMS Board representing physicians from Macomb and Oakland counties. The MSMS Board sets policies and oversees operations for the 15,000-member medical society headquartered in East Lansing.

Doctor Ryan is a recognized physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist with over 33 years of experience in the medical field and affiliations with multiple area hospitals including Ascension St. John Hospital and Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Medicine and Rehabilitation. The Michigan State Medical Society is the statewide professional association operating as the voice of all physicians in Michigan and is affiliated with the American Medical Association. Physician policies on various issues involving public health, health care delivery and medical ethics are set at the annual MSMS House of Delegates meeting.
