Sometimes people with cancer experience hard times getting the medication they need. YesRx, Michigan’s Statewide Cancer Drug Repository Network, accepts unused and unopened medicine that is no longer needed and then makes those medications available to patients in need, for free.
In the last year, thanks to the generosity of patients, families, and caregivers who donated thousands of unused oral cancer medications to the YesRx Statewide Network of Cancer Drug Repository Programs, over $7 million dollars in cancer medication has been provided by clinicians to patients at no cost. The Network is currently serving 75 percent of the counties in Michigan.
