Reducing Unconscious Bias – an Imperative (RUBI)
Live Virtual
Monday, September 23, 2024
5:30 – 8:30 pm EST
Approved for 3 AMA PRA Category Credit(s)™
Addressing unconscious bias in healthcare is crucial for ensuring equitable patient care. Unconscious biases can lead to disparities in treatment, diagnosis, and outcomes for patients from marginalized groups.
The Reducing Unconscious Bias, an Imperative (RUBI) training curriculum, developed by Henry Ford Health’s Office of Community Health, Equity, Wellness & Diversity and Henry Ford Women’s Health Services, offers a comprehensive approach to understanding and mitigating bias in healthcare. Case examples will be used to illustrate real-world scenarios and demonstrate how unconscious biases can impact patient care.
Join RUBI for an in-depth exploration of bias, respectful care, and their impact on health disparities.
This session fulfills three hours of LARA’s requirement for implicit bias training.
