Zeeland Physician Bryan W. Huffman, MD, Re-Elected Vice Speaker of Michigan State Medical Society’s House of Delegates

Bryan W. Huffman, MD, a Zeeland ophthalmologist, was re-elected to a third one-year term as Vice Speaker of the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) House of Delegates during the 158th annual meeting of the MSMS House of Delegates held in Dearborn on April 22nd.

Doctor Huffman is a West Michigan native and attended the University of Michigan Medical School.  Upon completing his residency, Doctor Huffman returned to West Michigan in 2005 to join Sight Eye Clinic in Zeeland.  Bryan is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the Christian Medical and Dental Associations, and serves as president of the Ottawa County Medical Society. He also previously served as a delegate to the MSMS House of Delegates. The Michigan State Medical Society is the statewide professional association operating as the voice of all physicians in Michigan and is affiliated with the American Medical Association. Physician policies on various issues involving public health, health care delivery and medical ethics are set at the annual MSMS House of Delegates meeting.
