Jason Wasserman, PhD, HEC-C will kick off the afternoon with a presentation titled “Navigating Clinical Ethics: Principles and Practices.” Doctor Wasserman is Professor of Foundational Medical Studies at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, where he also holds an appointment in Pediatrics. He is the course director of the Medical Humanities and Clinical Bioethics curriculum, serves as Director of Student Professionalism, the Director of the Holocaust and Medicine Program, and as clinical ethics consultant at Beaumont Hospital – Royal Oak.
