With regret, Advocacy Day on March 20 is being cancelled. The House of Representatives has cancelled session that day, and the Michigan Senate may follow suit. As our Government Relations team has previously shared, the legislature, as they await special elections to determine two open seats, is at a bit of a standstill. This is causing an inconsistent calendar and unpredictable scheduling.
MSMS will continue to work on scope of practice and all other legislation through all available means. Should another opportunity be available for a large lobby event at the Capitol, staff will let you know as soon as possible.
