Traverse City Physician Leah C. Davis, DO, Elected to Help Lead State Medical Society

Leah Davis, DO, a Traverse City board-certified radiologist, was elected to Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) Board of Directors during the 158th annual meeting of the MSMS House of Delegates held in Dearborn on April 23rd.

A graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University, Doctor Davis will serve a three-year term as a Designated Director to the MSMS board,  representing independent small practice physicians throughout the state. The MSMS Board sets policies and oversees operations for the 15,000-member medical society headquartered in East Lansing.

Doctor Davis practices with Grand Traverse Radiologists, PC, associated with the Munson Healthcare System. She is also an active member of numerous other professional medical associations including the Grand Traverse-Benzie-Leelanau County Medical Society, the Michigan Radiological Society, the American College of Radiology, the Skeletal Society of Radiology. The Michigan State Medical Society is the statewide professional association operating as the voice of all physicians in Michigan and is affiliated with the American Medical Association. Physician policies on various issues involving public health, health care delivery and medical ethics are set at the annual MSMS House of Delegates meeting.
